Prior to becoming an attorney, Amy worked as a patent manager, where she managed a patent portfolio that included over 100 patents/applications. While I aided in drafting and prosecuting applications concerning identity theft protection, she also ensured good communication between inventors, outside counsel, and the patent office. As an an attorney Amy has helped early-stage inventors, companies, and universities prepare and prosecute various patent and trademark applications. She has consulted with examiners on a frequent basis to collaborate and achieve a meaningful scope of patent protection.
