Understanding and Creating Contract Agreements

If you downloaded Pokemon Go, you gave up your right to trial by jury.

It’s true. Pokémon Go’s Terms of Service contain an arbitration clause -  which means an arbitrator, instead of a court jury, will decide all cases brought against Pokémon Go for anything over $5,000.

To avoid this, you must “opt-out” of this part of the contract by writing an e-mail or letter to the company within 30 days of downloading the game.

Whether or not you’re concerned about your legal standing with Pokémon Go, we are available to assist you with any contract you encounter. For a fixed fee, we will help you review and understand the terms and agreements of your contract, whether it concerns buying a home, establishing a new business, or anything else. We can even help you draft your own contracts.

Schedule a meeting today to discuss your contract questions by calling us at 801-375- 2830.
