John Kwarm is a seasoned trial attorney with years of legal experience. Before working at Sumsion Business Law, he worked for the Utah County Public Defender's office as a trial attorney where he gained hundreds of hours of courtroom experience. John is currently adjunct faculty at Utah Valley University and at BYU Law, serving as the Trial Advocacy team coach. John is involved in the community and currently serves on the Utah Sentencing Commission, as a mentor for youth, and on the board of several other organizations. Early in his professional life, John clerked at the Fourth District Court of Utah, worked in university Title IX Compliance, and served the public as a wildland firefighter for the U.S. Forest Service. When not in the office, John can be found spending time with his wife and five children, weightlifting, reading, traveling, or hiking along the Wasatch Front.
